Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
(Youma and Shinobu, Shin to move to Chibi thread later. Allow for two people to post between you start a new cycle of your character's posts.)

Keep in mind this is not the place for closed tags. You can't control who you're going to run into during the battle and this is a plot for everyone, not for anyone to play out their closed plot.

Deep within Chaos' mansion the youma were stirring. Soon, soon it would be their hour. Over Tokyo a cloud was gathering. It was the middle of the afternoon, but throughout the day the unnatural storm front began moving in, obscuring the sun and casting the city in a gray twilight.

It was rush hour when the order came forward. It was time.

The youma howled their pleasure as Shinobu marched forward in front of them. She was paler than usual and stiff. She wasn't sure, wasn't sold, but she had to do this.

The portal opened, ripping a hole in the fabric of the universe. With a wild shriek the youma charged, pushing each other in their hurry. They had been stirred into a wild, blood lusting frenzy. Nothing would stop them as they disappeared into the portal and landed in a bewildered and unprepared Tokyo.

They tore into the streets attacking anyone who moved, tearing into them, stealing their energy, and destroying their bodies. Blood would flow down the streets before the day was done, it had already begun. A horror had been released into the world in the shrieking horde of monsters, of creatures that should never have walked the face of this earth, of any planet.

It was the end of the world as they knew it and as Shinobu watched, frozen in horror as the youma attacked and slaughtered people she could only form one coherent though.

'What have I done?'

RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Dune's head popped out the front door of his apartment as the dark cloud settled overhead, instantly sending an ominous chill down his spine. While it wasn't the youma he first spotted, the screams of innocent civilians being torn into happened to catch his attention."What in the hell....?"" The first words out of his mouth also seemed to catch the attention of one of the stray beasts, directing itself to the door that slammed into its face.

The red head backed up and darted for his jacket,fishing around in the pockets for the pieces of Havoc before tossing the jacket on and facing the door. As the thin wooden door buckled and caved inwards, the Youma was greeted by a powerful jab to the face, sending it flying out of the front of his apartment and straight into the front glass plate of a vending machine.

"....Time for a work out...?"

"Damn right it is,"Dune replied to the Fae's comment. Cracking of the knuckles sounded off as Dune stepped up on the railing of the stairs that lead downwards, and dropped to take a short cut. With another quick hop, he was across the street and approaching the Youma that had attacked him. He simply placed his foot under the unconscious Youma and kicked it aside before bending down to retrieve a few items from the broken vending machine; several packets of Curry Bread were stuffed into his pockets, aside from the one Dune ripped open and bit into. "Just think of me as a Knight in Training."

RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Chris noticed the clouds gathering in the sky. Oddly enough he felt a chill in the air, and it wasn’t from the drop in temperature. Maybe it was intuition that stemmed off the ‘bubble’ of awareness that he felt. Or it just might be the anxiety of being in a strange city during the odd weather. Whatever it was, he stopped eating the meat bun he bought and looked around. Something didn’t feel right.

It was the screams that first caught his attention, long before he saw any of the youma that created them. Loud blood curdling screams of the victims as they were drained of energy and lost their lives. With a swift motion he tossed the remainder of the product in the trash as he stood up, moving quickly in the direction of the sound. A second series of screams came from behind him, and he turned in confusion as to what was going on.

The sudden movement put him face to chest of a particularly tall female youma, who just stood there surprised to a human standing in that particular spot. An evil grin spread upon her face at seeing such an eager victim. “Your energy is mine!” Chris could only look up from his vantage point in sheer fear as the youma brought her hands down to drain his energy. His body was absolutely paralyzed, and it wasn’t from the youma’s claim. It was because he was that close to a female.

But before the youma could grab hold of her target, a bright light radiated from Chris. It forced the youma to jump backwards in confusion, as the light split into two colors. Gold light grew behind Chris, while a silver one grew in front. The lights merged with Chris in the middle, combining into a bright pearl color before fading. Standing where Chris stood, a knight in silver and gold armor appeared from the light. A visor hid the top portion of his face, and a symbol of a gold ring linked with a silver ring on his chest. At his side two swords hung at his waist, one gold long sword and the other a silver short sword.

The youma sputtered in confusion and wonder at the figure before it, and then launched an attack in rage. The figure did nothing until it was within 5ft of him, and then with a swift motion cut in an X pattern across the youma’s mid-section with his sword. The creature let out a loud cry, as it disappeared from sight. The figure in the armor sheathed the swords and turned to where the screams were the loudest. “It’s good that he fainted. He wouldn’t have the strength to fight the females.” The figured continued forward as fast as he could, intent on saving as many as he could.

Karu was looking in the mirror; he saw the greatest thing he ever saw in his life. Himself it was a wonderful feeling and picture. Karu saw a youma in the mirror running after a man from the reflection of the window. He turned to the window and looked outside to see the horror. “MOMMY! ANZU! DADDY! KYLIE! SOMEONE!” Karu screamed. Karu realized he hadn’t saw Anzu in a couple of days. “Wait, how could I have missed that? OH, yeah this mirror week when I only look at myself all week long.” Karu said

. Anzu where are you? I can’t do this alone. Karu thought. He ran to the phone and called Kylie. The phone didn’t answer so he left a message. “THE END OF THE WORLD IS COMING! ALL THE HEROES ARE GOING TO DIE IN DARKNESS! HELP! HELP! HELP! SAFE ME! When you get this message please call me back thank you.” Karu said to the voice messager and hanged up.

Ok, everyone needs me out there! In the name of Sun! I shall protect the innocent and the light hearted for my light shall shine on all! Karu thought. He ran outside and shouted. “ YOUMA WANT SOME COME GET SOME! TAIYOU SHINE!” Karu shouted. Karu transformed. Karu stood in front three youma. “Solar Flare!” He shouted. He let a blinding ball of light after the three youma.

RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Now this was just weird. It was all cloudy but the clouds were dark. Like black. Black black not storm gray black. Seriously black. Blocking out the sun. Like some big sun blocking out black things. Just plain weird.

Then there was the kind of itchy, twitching feeling she'd had all day. It reminded her of that dream she kept having, the one where she was off in her big poofy princess dress ready to go off to her demise in a battle. At least she thought that was what it was about. Draco always showed up in it which was just weird, but it was the same kind of feeling.

Oh yeah, and the fact that her henshin necklace seemed to be glittering. She had almost expected it to explode or something. It was freaking her out just a little bit. Who would have thought being a Senshi meant accessories that glittered?

Kylie and Ariel set out that afternoon as soon as they were finished school. Ever since Rose had been kidnapped they had been looking for something, anything to indicate they could get her back. Nothing. Not a blasted thing. The only plan Kylie could come up with was to find Draco, kidnap her, lock her in the basement, and torture her via some dastardly acts until she coughed up Rose's location. No luck so far.

It was just their luck to be standing on the street the portal opened up on. After the first few monsters came out and started attacking people they wised up. "Orion Constellation Power Make-Up!"

There was no time for a speech. There was no time to watch and see what was going on. This wasn't a little fight like Kylie had experienced before. This was a full scale battle. "Orion Sparkle Barrage!" She threw the sparkling energy at a youma about to attack a little girl. "Run!"The little girl did and Kylie charged the monster bow loaded and ready. One down, a heck of a lot more to go.

Thank God they weren't alone as she heard a familiar caterwauling, Karu was placing a call. He appeared right after. "Sunny Butt!" she yelled gleefully. "Ready?" She loaded her bow and started shooting into the fray. Two men had also joined the fight one suited in armor. Kylie started fighting through the crowd of monsters to join Karu and when she got there planted her feet firmly. "'Bout time you showed up," she told him. "Ready to kick some monster butt?"

Because they were just that dang amazing that no monster could stand up to the combined awesomeness of Sailor Orion and the Taiyou Knight.

Everybody stand up! Stand up today's your best shot!
No one can catch you speed hunter!
This is the Hero's Comeback you've been waiting for, come on!

Don't try to live so wise, don't cry, cuz you're so right
Don't dry, with fakes or fears, cuz you will hate yourself in the end.

"I," Ariel paused dramatically. "Have a bad feeling about this." It was true, she did, but she had been waiting all her life to legitimately use that line. And if Ari could feel something bad than you knew it was time to break out the dramatic lines, because it was that bad. Bad as in end of the world bad. Really, really bad. Almost as bad as her own sister being kidnapped. Oh she was still going to get Chaos and Draco for that. Just watch her.

Ariel had been withdrawn for the past few weeks without her twin. She felt broken up, like some essential part of her had been chopped out and the wound left there to fester and get flies on it who would then lay eggs and then it'd get all maggoty and gross and smelly. So all in all Chaos had greatly wronged her. Without Rose, Ariel didn't know what to do with herself. She was supposed to be the strong one, but she had never realized how much she depended on her sister for support, even if it was just to stand behind her and know she was there for when Ariel got herself in a mess.

She was staring off into space when the portal opened. "Uh-oh." Understatement since monsters basically poured out of it. "Diamond Make-UP!" Okay, okay she could do this! Time for revenge! Hey maybe Chaos would show up herself. "Hey! Ugly Butt! Diamond Heart Blast!"

Diamond plunged into the thick of things behind Kylie. "Hey Sunny Butt!" She grinned looking like a mini Kylie but in a horrid shade of pink. Again, eew, the universe must have been in a bad mood when it was handing out her powers.

Try to make it look easy, gonna make it look good,
I'm just your average ordinary everyday super hero.

The hero you were holding out for, Diamond!

Miku was hiding in her room when the screaming started.

At first she ignored it and just cranked up the volume on her CD player. It was probably her stupid sister messing around with her cronies again. An annoyance and nothing more.

When it didn't stop, Miku stomped over to her window to yell out. She got so far as opening it and sticking her head out when she saw what was happening below, besides the black sky there was a youma below her window chasing a twelve year old girl who was shouting profanities at it.

Miku sighed, couldn't they stupid things give her a day off? She had just had one attack her practicing soccer yesterday! Now there was one outside her house.

Miku stormed down the steps and outside. "Serpens Constellation Power Make-Up!" Henshin completed she dealt with the monster still glowering. Interrupting her afternoon, God she should have just flushed the stupid wand down the toilet when it showed up instead of keeping it. Miku turned to go back inside but the girl who had been running away interrupted her.

"Hey you're a Sailor Senshi, aren't you going to do something?"

Miku turned her glower on the woman. Okay she was a hero of justice, but she didn't have to be nice. "About what?" she demanded.

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe the horde of monsters downtown?"

Miku swore and the girl grinned. "Go home," Miku turned and started running for downtown. Not an easy feat in those damn heeled boots she was stuck wearing. Finally she hit the bus stop and jumped on.

Yep, she was Sailor Serpens headed to defeat evil and riding on a public city bus to get there. She was just that cool.

You can not choose your battlefield the gods do that for you,
but you can plant a standard, where a standard never flew.

I dare you to try on my dreams.

RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
The man in armor moved quickly through the crowd of monsters, as he rushed towards those that were injured. Each strike in the youma weren’t fatal strikes like the first one, but ones made to incapacitate the monsters quickly and efficiently. He made his way to a group of people who were completely drained of energy, whose bodies were about to be torn to shreds by the creatures. With a swift motion, all the youma within reach of his swords were quickly dispatched, and the rest forced to move back or face his blades.

Circling the group once, the man made sure he had enough room to work before turning to those who had fallen. He quickly kneeled down and placed his left hand over the one that was most injured, not even looking at the youma that surrounded him. “Centauri Silver Light.” A silver circle formed over his left hand, and a light drifted down onto the injured person. Slowly the injuries that were given began to mend quickly, and color quickly returned to the drained man.

A stir showed that the man was out of danger, and the one in the suit began to work on the next one. Those that he had forced back stood only long enough to realize what the man was doing, and immediately rushed forward while he was distracted. But no sooner had they gotten within 5ft of the armored man than those that were closest met an unfortunate end at his blades. Even those that attacked from behind were quickly eliminated before they could reach him, letting out loud screeches. The rest continued to rush forward, trying to overwhelm the man with sheer numbers.

Unfortunately they were right, as the man was having an increasingly harder time fending off the monsters while protecting the group of people who were unconscious on the floor. He fought valiantly against the approaching youma, but was slowly becoming overpowered. Obviously fighting while protecting was harder than he first thought, and began to wonder if he should leave the group and just fight the youma. But his heart kept him firmly rooted in place, as he couldn’t leave them to be harmed by these monsters.

RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
"YAMAMOTO,GO!" Those were the last words Asari heard from his baseball coach. While during a mid-day practice, the sky had darkened and the Youma came...slow at first, trickling in through the only entrance into the practice field surrounded by the high school, then they flooded the field. Weird creatures in all shapes and forms attacked without warning, injuring many of his team mates and driving the remaining survivors into the storage shed, where they waited for a mere few minutes. It hadn't taken long for the Youma to surround the shed, and for the Coach to plot a course of action. While he didn't inform Asari and the two other teammates with him, Coach had reached for a weed trimmer, tugging at the rip cord to bring it to life before kicking open the shed door and causing a diversion, allowing Asari and the two others to flee. That was no less than an hour ago....

The alleyway was deserted and quiet, which bugged the young swordsman, but he couldn't complain. It was a chance to take a break. Quietly panting, he leaned against a wall and listened to the sounds of the city consumed by chaos and panic. Monsters were everywhere...and all he did was run. A shaking hand reached up to clutch his necklace, bringing a certain amount of serenity that stopped the shaking. Oddly enough, he felt calm standing in the alley. No monsters, no people. Just himself...And dripping water from above.

"SSSSSS---HUMAN! ENERGY IS MINE!"

Trash cans from the opposite end of the alley exploded as a youma emerged from the back door of a building, her eyes locked onto Asari. Without a moments notice, she bolted down the secluded pathway, hell bent on tearing the boy to pieces. Asari didn't hesitate to drop the sword bag away from the Shinai, holding it before him as he clutched the necklace."San...SAI!" Torrents of water exploded about the teen, covering his body as he transformed. The explosive transformation did little to stop the youma, even going as far as attracting the attention of a small group of more youma. As the water succeeded, a thick, jagged crescent blade of ice bolted through the air, instantly ending the first youma that charged Asari."...Udachi-Hisame..." The thinner katana was held horizontal in front of his face, the edge pointing upwards.

((Udachi-Hisame= Brazen Right Blade,Frozen Rain for those who haven't seen his profile.))

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Steam whipped about his body as the second curry bread wrapper floated to the ground. Sonic bullets ripped through the air, bashing into and shredding apart any youma that came within yards of his position--which was constantly moving, and at a rapid pace. Dune didn't waste time in one spot. Five minutes was all he had at the moment in the second GEAR, and he wasn't going to waste a single second standing around while all the youma in the universe decided to scuttle towards him in hope of an Aesirian buffet. The red head sped from spot, to spot. Almost as if he were teleporting instead of running. While fleeing to..wherever, Dune stumbled upon a sword wielder defending a group of people downed from having their energy drained. Well...he wasn't going to let innocent Earthlings be killed--oh, and the sword-guy either.
"Hey...." Dune landed next to the man in armor, glancing towards him before delivering a sonic boom endowed punch to a youma that was no less than twenty feet away from him, "I'm not so light on my feet when carrying someone. I can hold these things off,and you get these people outta here?" He inquired with another glance towards Martin. Truth be told, he did want to spend some time just pounding on some Youma...why not make it into a public service too? It wasn't like he saw any Senshi running around the city,anyway...Speaking of which, it was weird that he hadn't met any of the Sol system's Sen--Dune's train of thought was derailed by the howl of a youma, which was greeted with a sonic bullet to the face.
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Shinobu stepped out of the portal after the last monster was out, expecting carnage.
She was surprised by what she saw. People were fighting back. Not just Senshi, in fact she didn't see as many of them as she would have expected, but heroes and knights, even a few normal people had retaliated. It wasn't the carnage she expected, not even close. There was human blood on the street and bodies, but there were piles of ash that indicated dead monsters as well.
They hadn't done that back home. On Kinmoku their guardians had fled and no one had stopped to help them. Everyone had panicked, it had been everyone for themselves, no one had even tried to fight back until it was far too late.
A crackle of dark energy hit Shin and her knees buckled. Chaos' not so subtle warning to go fight. Shin took her katana out, whipping them around to the front, but hesitated. Who did she go after? She didn't know... there were no Starlights and that was who she had been after, but they were all gone... all gone now. She had no grudge against these people.
So she stood there, decked out in dark energy and the clothes of a dark Senshi, uncertainty written all over her face, as she watched the battles going down all over the street.
(If someone wants to attack Shinobu you're more than welcome to!)
In the end I was no one
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
So it finally begun. The day that Lifen and Kail had been talking about all this time. Lifen had already gone with her team, which worried him immensely. She and her friends were way too young for this... but he supposed it was fate, as much as he hated that kind of word. Their father was hopefully somewhere safe, maybe at home or at work, or even better, somewhere far. He'd already lost one person, he wasn't about to lose two more.
"Spinel-Knight, Power-up!" he called out, clutching to his necklace as he transformed. Once his javelin appeared, he rushed off down to where the real action was.
There was tons of panic and screaming from civilians who had no where to go. There energy was being sapped so quickly there wasn't enough time for them to fight back. This was really unlike any other situation he had been in. With all of the big heroes of the city gone, the only ones, Chaos must've felt it was time to attack.
As blue eyes shifted, he spotted a woman with a sword amongst all the panic. She was calm, but her energy was not that of a welcoming sort. Not at all. Could she be the cause of this outbreak? Despite her dark energy however, there was something off about this woman just by looking in her face.
Clutching his javelin, he approached the young woman, ready to expect a very unwelcoming greeting.
"If you or your allies think that you're going to get away with this massacre, you're sorely mistaken," he said to her very calmly, taking a stance. He didn't care if he was risking his life, it was him or these innocent people.
"Prepare yourself,"
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Karu stood collecting himself of the events. People were getting hurt and he was scared… He didn’t know if to run away or to face his destiny. To prove his existence is worth something. Suppose he died and no saw he died wouldn’t he be remembered… His father and mother could always get and another son. Should he give up everything? All the time Anzu spend training him? Should he make it go to waste? If he ran away he would be nothing but, just another human being. Should he just run away and live his life with money his parents gave him or be something more. He could go on living his life of grandeur or be something that made a difference.
“This is the time to make a decision for everyone that has been in my life and for those who just came. I’m needed here. I don’t know if I’m going to make difference or die here but, at least I’ll do that has meaning. It’s time to fight. No more words. Just actions. This is the day of reckoning!” Karu whispered to himself. Karu heard a voice someone spoke to him of course he knew the blondness of who it was. “Sailor Orion right? Who’s the pink thing? Anyway let’s shift into turbo. Blood is on the line." Karu said to both Kylie and Ariel in a mature voice.
Karu saw 5 youma coming to words them. “I got the three! Blinding Light! Solar Flare!” Karu shouted. Blasting light energy after the three youma and turning them into dust. Karu saw a girl that was wearing black with katana. She was wearing black…she evil. Karu saw a man in armor some feet away from him. “Hey dude with the blades! The evil commander is over there in black!” Karu said to Martin. Saw someone approached and smiled turned back to Kylie and Ariel. "Lets Go!" Karu said to them.
"Just stay here, please and keep all the doors and windows locked. Don't tell mom or dad I went out okay? They'll just get worried. "
"But why?"
"Akiko, where are you going? Mom and Dad said we should stay inside,"
"Listen you two... it's hard to explain. I know we always argue and fight and stuff, but I just really need you two to be safe and quiet. As annoying as you guys are, I'd hate to lose you,"
"... We're gonna miss you,"
".... bah, fine. Just come back alright, Aki? It'll be boring not to tease you all the time,"
A small smile formed as Aki ran down the street, thinking back. The one and only time that her brothers listened to her. Well, this was a start. She just hoped that her family would stay safe with all this chaos going around the city. The streets were very dead right now, but she knew that the closer she got, the more people she'd find. And more danger.
Taking a deep breath, the young girl clutched her brooch. Well, it was now or never...
"Lyra Constellation Power, Make-up!"
Soon enough, she could hear the sound of screaming and screeching. Once she turned the corner, thats when she saw the youma. She was stunned for a moment. There were so many of them, and so many people with their energy drained. How did this happen? Where did so many of them come from?
Taking a deep breath, she clenched her fists. No time to stand and stare now! She had a city to save. "Alright, time to take care of business!" she quickly summoned her harp and then looked at the large amount of youma running after civilians.
"Sound Wave... Melody!" she yelled.
Shinobu hovered there, uncertainty flashing across her face. It was Kinmoku, it wasn't, it was, it wasn't, what was the difference?? It was another world about to be destroyed by Chaos and she was standing by and watching it happen without a move to stop it. She was no Senshi. She wasn't anything. She was just a coward.
She took a hesitant step forward, unsure whether she was moving to hinder or help when a voice cut through her indecision. He stood in front of her babbling righteousness, not even stopping to see what side she was on or what she was doing.
Because people never did. They made their snap judgments and that was it. They never tried to look any further.
Cygnus's face hardened. She didn't waste time with words, taunts were for the weak or those lacking confidence. She was neither. Instead she launched herself at Spinel katanas spinning in a deadly dance. "Swan Pandemonium!" The blades lit up blue and started blurring faster and faster.
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
The man glanced at the one who appeared beside him, fighting the youma just like him. At first he thought that the man was there to help protect the people, but after a few moments realized that the man just wanted to fight. Which was fine with him, there were plenty of youma running around hurting people. And the man did seem to genuinely want to help while he got the people to safety. However that wasn’t what the man in armor had planned.
While the man kept the youma at bay, the figure in armor kneeled down and held his left hand over the figures he had been protecting. With words softly spoken, he called forth the silver circle from before. “Centauri Silver Light.” He focused his energy into the circle, turning it into the silver light that fell on the wounded. After a moment the light healed most of the wounds, and restored a small amount of their energy. Enough that they were slowly becoming conscience and able to move on their own.
A voice called to him from his right, and he looked to see three more figures fighting against the youma. The one in front called to him, mentioning that the leader of this invasion was standing off to the side. Following the gaze, the figure in the armor noticed the girl clad in black and another confronting her.
But in his eyes something didn’t seem right. It was true she wasn’t fighting against the youma and helping them protect the people. But at the same time she didn’t seem like the one giving orders. Also, none of the youma was attacking her so it stood to reason she was part of their group. But why would she just stand there and do nothing, good or bad?
That didn’t last long, as she turned to the one confronting her. Guessing by the posture of both, the guy either said or did something to make it seem like she was the bad guy. And as a result she was about to retaliate by attacking him. The figure in the armor wasted no time as the woman began her attack, focusing his energy into his right hand. He pointed it between the two and released a burst of golden energy. “Centauri Golden Flash!”
The attack wasn’t meant to hit either of the fighters, because right when the blast reached them the armor clad figure appeared right where it was. As the woman’s blades began their dance, so did the ones the armored man held. Each blade collided almost perfectly with the woman’s blades, blocking them before they could connect with their target. Blow by blow, blade by blade, the attacks were stopped the closer they got to the man clad in armor.
Unfortunately the woman seemed a bit faster than the one in armor, and he was slowly being pushed back by the attacks. But the man had better reflexes, and managed to block the attacks from some rather awkward movements. Once the attack finished he finally stood up, placing himself between the woman and the man who confronted her. “Sorry to interrupt, but I will keep her busy. You go protect the people while I straighten this out.”
He looked at the woman before him, and unlike his descendent was completely normal before her. He held his blades ready, but not in a manner of attacking. “If you are an enemy, I don’t want to hurt you. Please call off your minions. But if you’re an ally, I ask that you please join us in protecting the people.” He saw how she was hesitant to help in the battle, either for or against the enemies. If she was evil to the core, then he would have no choice but to kill her if it meant saving the people. But if she had some good in her, even the slightest, then there was a chance they could gain a powerful ally. After all, those dancing blades were not easy to block.
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Karu had looked terrified when she first saw him, but as they got near she saw him talking to himself (Kylie had always known he was crazy) and a determined expression slid across his face. Kylie wasn't sure what had happened or what he had resolved, but she had a feeling it had been important. Good thing, they needed Taiyou Knight on their side.
"You don't remember my name?" she demanded firing an arrow off at a monster. Score! Of course with them this thick it was hard to miss."Of course it's Orion, Sunny Butt! Jeez!" She made a face at him. "This is my sister," she added more cheerfully. "Diamond."
Five monsters broke away to attack them. Kylie swung her bow around and took aim. "Orion Sparkle Barrage!" She let the arrow loose and sparkles swarmed around it. When it hit the monster it exploded and the monster fell back screaming her head off. Another arrow and she was gone replaced by dust. Yeah! "Three down!"
She was going to own them. First the monsters, then Draco, then Chaos, problems solved! She was Sailor Orion after all and no one, not even Chaos, could beat her. Never again!
"Look over there!"From an ally came more noise as another guy exploded in water with youma headed at him from all sides. "Onward Terrifyingly Terrific Trio!" With one arrow in her mouth she charged trying to string her bow up which was harder than it looked. She let it fly, but it went wide and only served to get the youmas' attention. They turned to look at her, for the moment ignoring Asari. Whoops. "Arrow Flight Dance!" Arrows exploded out of her bow and every where they lodged exploded again. Neither the street nor the youmas looked too good anymore...
"Don't mention the pink," Ariel grumbled. Yeah universe who thought that would be funny she was glaring at YOU. Jerks. "I met you on that beach before the squid almost ate you," she looked Karu over. "Try not to get eaten today Sunny Butt!" That day had been a long time ago. Before Ariel and Rose had powers, before Sailor Senshi had started disappearing. Things had been normal back then, not scary like now. Everything had been set and certain, now everything was changing and Ariel wasn't sure she liked it.
She didn't have time to stand around and ponder that though because monsters were coming. "Right!" She charged. "Diamond Smash!" She flew through the air smashing her foot into its head. It exploded, showering her with gray dust. "Eew! Monster guts!" That was just nasty.
"On it!" Ariel followed close on Kylie's heels and stood back to let her do her thing with the arrows. "Hey you, Water Boy! You okay?"After all with the water and all what else was she supposed to call him? Some of the youma avoided Kylie's attacks and it wasn't as if there weren't enough to go around. Ariel spun and formed another energy chain, "Diamond Heart Blast!" This time she kept the chain in hand, snapping it around like the deadly heart shaped energy it was, taking off a youma's head and breaking a lamp pole in the process.
Awesome.
Try to make it look easy, gonna make it look good,
I'm just your average ordinary everyday super hero.
The hero you were holding out for, Diamond!
"Holy-"
The bus driver's profanity was cut off as a youma hit the front of the bus. It clawed at the windshield, too stupid to get in otherwise.
Heavy scowl on her face, Miku shoved through the crowd ignoring the catcalls from a group of teenaged guys in the back. Imbeciles. She stomped outside opening the doors herself as the driver babbled and pointed her wand at the monster. "Shadow Star Burst!" It didn't even have time to scream before it was dusted.
"You're a real Senshi!"
Miku glared at the driver. "No crap Sherlock!" Out of the corner of her eye she could see more youma gathering at the end of the street. An idea flashed through her head and she smirked. "I'm commandeering this bus for official Senshi business. Everybody off. Now."
It was amazing how quickly they cleared out after token protests from the driver. Maybe it was the way she was brandishing her wand at them.
Now, for the fun part. Miku slid into the seat and experimentally pressed one of the pedals. Nothing. So that would be the break then. She hit the other one and the bus started inching forward. Easy. There was some kind of stick shift thinger but she didn't need to change gears, she just needed to drive!
Miku hit the gas and the bus shot forward, wobbling drunkenly. Randomly the windshield wipers went on and the turn signals wouldn't stop clicking. Miku started pressing buttons at random, watching in fascination as lights went on and off (inside and out, was that the check engine light) and glass cleaner squirted on the windshield. Well at least it was clean now until THUD! An unfortunate youma became her first victim splattering more youma dust all over the front of the bus.
She cackled, she couldn't help it and continued her joyride mowing down youma in her path. They quickly caught on and started running down the street hysterically screaming their heads off as Miku ran them over.
Up ahead she saw a familiar red head fighting youma. Maybe Aki could use a lift too...
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Just as Jian lifted his spear to retialiate against the senshi's attack, a flash of golden light zoomed between the two, intercepting the both of them. Once the light subsided, there was a figure in it's place. A armour clad male and a warrior by the looks of it. The aqua-haired knight wasn't quite sure whether he was friend or foe, but for now, he'd just have to deal with it.
Jian quirked a slight brow as the man spoke. He wasn't quite sure what this guy had planned for the senshi, but he could only hope that he'd be able to handle her. She obviously was no easy foe. Let's hope his flashy entrance wasn't the only thing he had up his sleeve. He did have a point though, there were civlians that needed saving.
Shaking his head, he turned around. "Your choice,"
Looking around, the Spinel Knight had a whole lot more to deal with, even without that senshi. There were so many people running that he'd best just open some sort of pathway, or opening or something.
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
His grandmother had told him to stay at the restaurant, but no... he didn't listen. Takeo had to go and get himself caught in a huge mess of what seemed to be doomsday. He should've listened to his gut and his stupid visions as well. Why him? Why did he have to be such a dunce? Well, part of it was because he was worried about his friends, his city, Miku... but why couldn't he had just called first? He wasn't a hero! He was just a high school deliver boy!
The bus swerved as something hit the front. With a large thud, the greenette hit his head against one of the poles in the back and slipped to the ground among the group of people on the bus. Ugggh... his head was killing him, but he heard a familiar voice amongst it all. A very testy voice, but he couldn't quite get what she was saying. Instead he just lay on the ground a bit, hoping that everything would stop spinning.
Well, on the plus side, the bus started to clear off for whatever reason. He noticed less feet around him anyway.
However, instead of the bus ride getting better, it just got progressively worse. And there were no seatbelts.
"Oh dear," he said as he continued to lie on the floor and feel his body beginning to slide. "Oh deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeear,"
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
"Gaaaaaaaaaaah, there's so many!" Aki complained as she continued to attack the youma. This was really beginning to drain her. She hasn't fought so many of these things before at a time! The red-headed senshi wasn't quite sure if she could keep going at this rate.
She jumped back from a rather large senshi, taking a deep breath. "Sound Wave...."
Before she could finish her sentence, a large bus mowed down the youma that she was facing and with that it was dust. Amber eyes blinked for a moment, not sure if she actually just saw what she thought she saw. Huh. That was... unexpected.
Once the bus had slowed down to a complete stop, the senshi was quite surprised to see just who was driving it.
"Serpens!" she gasped, not expecting her to be in this fight at all. The last time she saw Sailor Serpens, she seemed quite adament in wanting nothing to do with the Constellations. Though she supposed driving over a youma with a bus wasn't exactly using senshi powers.
Realizing that more youma had spotted her, Aki decided to not just stand around and instead hitch a ride with the other girl. Jumping on board, she noticed that it was completely vacant, with the exception of a single teen boy in the back who looked like he was ready to upheave something unpleasant.
"We should find civilians and drive them out of here!" Then something just hit her...
"Serpens..."
she said looking at the girl a bit nervously and then at the green haired boy at the back. "... How exactly did you get this bus?"
amahi, kohana and aqua were running down the street already in senshi form aqua was sitting on kira as the wolf ran. yooumas were everywhere and they knew that they would have to fight and win or they would not fight and lose and never see their two cousins and sister. aqua needed her mom and she had stopped talking when both she ans seph had been taken. from the corner of aqua's eyes she spotted aki fighting also and ran towards her with the two older girls following. aqua clutched the older girls leg scared while kohana and amahi fought other youmas in the surrounding area.
aqua took a big breath and shouted her attack at another youma before jumping onto the bus also.
"i want to help too!"
amahi and kohana stepped up and stared at aqua seeing that she would stay by the red head before going back out and keeping the youmas away from the bus and helping the other senshi in the surrounding area.
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
Shinobu didn't even get a chance to go at it, some nosy dude stuck his nose in, first with his energy, then jumping in and blocking her blades. Shinobu recoiled, unwilling to go hand to hand with him wielding a larger weapon if she could help it. She jumped back a few steps, keeping her blades on guard. Straighten her out, pompous jerk, she would show him straightened out. This was why she couldn't stand "good guys" and "heroes". They were so arrogant. They thought they were so noble and so much better than everyone else, villains, civilians, everyone.
Shin hated them. Every one of them. They always assumed you were evil for no reason. They never looked further. Not ever.
"I'm your enemy dipstick," she snarled. English had such great insults. "Sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong, that's all you "heroes" ever do! Always running off for the noble cause. What, so you can brag? "I killed Chaos' general!" And how many children were killed by youma while you were wasting your time?!" Her face turned thunderous. "You're a fake, all of you are!"
The other guy walked away, your choice. It was always her damn choice. Just like it had been her choice to pick Chaos. Was it really so much worse than this? Some of them were trying, but others were wasting their time on her, even as she stood doing nothing. 'Run,' a voice whispered. 'Just run and never come back. Let it be someone else's problem.' There was a whole galaxy out there, what was to stop her from going? She could start a new life, away from Chaos, away from being a Senshi. No more of this nonsense. She could go back to being just Shinobu Hyuuga.
But deep inside she knew she couldn't. She had been evil, done horrible things, because she was afraid to do what she knew was right. She was still doing it. Still too afraid to do anything else. Too afraid to do anything at all, to make a decision either way. She couldn't commit, wasn't good, wasn't even truly evil.
She didn't know what to do.
In the end I was no one
Can't find her place, losing her faith, falling from grace
She wants to go home
but nobody's home.
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
"Gyah....!" The Youma's claws pierced Dante, draining the illusionist of his life energy. The man's body dropped to the ground, prompting the Youma to turn and look for other suitable targets...but that's when the illusion ended. Dante's fake body rose from the ground, becoming a mass of shadowy tendrils and snaked out and roped about the Youma, sending her crashing to the ground and dragging back to where the body had fallen where the tendril mass consumed and crushed, leaving behind nothing but a pile of ashes.
It hadn't been more than ten minutes when the first Youma decided to stumble into his territory,meeting an untimely demise. After finding it a tad difficult to fight in closed quarters, Dante had wandered into the downtown area and followed the sounds of fighting. Fighting meant there were people, and more people meant less energy he had to use against all the weird things jumping around. It was when he turned a corner than a familiar voice caught his attention.: The Spinel Knight. Irony was funny that way, it seemed. With the Devil's Lens primed, it launched several silvery beams into nearby Youma while he prepared another illusory assault.
While Jian had been his first victim upon arriving in Japan, Dante found himself smirking in the slightest. Maybe the spear-wielder would be useful during this time? "Fufufu...." The Devil's Lens had already attracted more Youma attention, exactly what Dante had prepared for. The pillars of fire erupted beneath the seven youma that had gathered around, rending them piles of dust and creating a seven pillar barrier for a few moments.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"That's a hundred points for each of the grunt monsters," Asari sighed as Udachi found its way back into its scabbard. Sadachi was then brought to light, gleaming maliciously despite the calm smile upon its wielder's face. He was keeping score for sure! This was a game after all, right? When he and the other gathered weirdos heroes defeated the final boss, everyone would come back...Thats how it went in every other RPG Asari had to play Easy mode on. Video games weren't his forte, but the swordplay sure was!
Several youma, and the surrounding alleyway were suddenly turned into pin cushions, filled with arrows. This brought Asari's attention to Ariel and Kylie, bringing a grin to his face. "Thanks a bunch!" The athlete quickly closed the distance between him and the two girls that decimated the youma around him. "So who's the Boss controlling all of these monsters,huh?" Like a little kid with a serious question, he stopped and asked. It wasn't like he knew anything about Chaos and the youma. He was, after all, just a baseball nut with a knack for the sword and crappy grades.
RE: Day of Reckoning (End Game Tokyo)
The armor clad figure took a step back, holding his swords loosely at his sides. While it was a good thing his descendent knew the two languages being spoken, it was a bad thing that he actually understood what the word ‘dipshit’ meant. He looked at the young woman for a moment, and shook his head. The only emotion that could be seen was by way of his mouth, and it was looking rather sad at the moment.
The figure turned his back to the young lady and sheathed his swords. “If you know so much about ‘heroes’ and despise us so much, why do you play the part of the villain?” He looked back at her, completely unarmed as he spoke. “You speak of children as if they have value, not something that should be killed or slaughtered. You say you killed Chaos’ general. You act as if you know what you’re doing is wrong.” He looked out at the battle field. “And yet you let this happen.”
He sighed and began to head back to the field of battle. “Everyone makes their own choices. But we also have the chance to change them if we choose.” He was facing away from the woman, but he spoke loud enough for her to hear. “It’s a shame, but facing you I saw that you had a good heart. Buried in your own desires. I don’t know what those desires are, but I do know they are what are holding you back. A beautiful woman like you shouldn’t be choosing this fate. If the situation was different, I might be so bold as to ask you out on a date.” He gave a shrug with a snicker. “Oh well, I bet you could even kill more of these things that I can if you wanted. But I guess it can’t be helped. Heroes are after all braggarts.”
With a swift motion he sliced into the side of one of the youma that wandered too close. He would have liked to fight back to back with the dark clad beauty, but he knew it was her choice to do what she wanted. Even if she was the root of these monsters it didn’t seem like taking out the head would kill the body in this case. It was like a cockroach in that aspect, as the youma would most likely remain even if the woman left.
He finished off the youma with a swipe of his second sword and turned to the woman. “Oh, and just so you know. Heroes have another function. If we didn’t go about saving people then evil would have a pretty boring life.” He gave a slight chuckle as a youma tried to strike him from behind. A quick pivot on his heels brought his swords in a double swipe motion across the creature’s chest, killing it instantly before it had the chance to attack. Right now he had to get back and help get the group he was protecting on the bus.
